David Boguslawski

Chief Executive Officer   

As CEO of Arista, David utilizes a servant leader philosophy developed over a long and successful management career. In 2019, he became president and CEO of CityVet, Inc., a veterinarian-led group of practices headquartered in Dallas that has operated for more than 25 years. In his four years there, CityVet more than doubled in size while remaining true to its core principle of putting people first—clients, staff, and veterinarians. David was named the Dallas Business Journal’s Most Admired CEO in 2023 for his efforts leading CityVet. David has also served on five different private equity–backed boards of directors.

Prior to CityVet, David was COO at Deca Dental, where he helped grow the business from 28 to 85 locations and was responsible for over 700 employees. He updated systems and processes to make the business more scalable and was awarded the Dallas Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award.

David also spent eight years working within Highland Capital’s Private Equity group, where he was the deal lead for multiple healthcare portfolio companies. David spent most of his time onsite at the portfolio companies partnering with executive teams to implement strategic plans, lead M&A, and institute continuous improvement programs.

David started his career at Lockheed Martin, where he graduated from the Leadership Development Program, led the turnaround of a unionized sheet metal fabrication team, and earned his Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt certification. He has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
