Some typical signs of a true emergency are: Significant trauma – hit by car, dog or wildlife fight, uncontrolled bleeding, seizuring and convulsions, difficulty breathing, listlessness and non-responsive, ingestion of suspected toxin (poison control line), persistent diarrhea or vomiting, no urination.
